I’m a woman and I was born in the 1990s. I do live in North America though.

When people use “different” with a preposition other than “from”. (Different to, different than)
I know it’s not technically wrong, but it just feels so wrong.
Also, when people add a phantom R between two words. “I’m a big fan of cinema ‘r’ and video games.”
Both stem from me not being a native English speaker, I think.
That’s a small thing?
I live in Canada, where eggs need to be refrigerated, and yet I’ve never seen a fridge with an egg holder. I already have an egg holder. The box they came in.
I may be missing something, but why can’t you have the bank account and phone number both in Lebanon?
In a ranked choice system or other better voting system, yes.
In the current system, voting for anyone but the least bad choice among the two that stand a chance is almost like giving your vote to the one that has the best chances, regardless of your preferences.
Look up the spoiler effect in elections.
Or, CGP Grey has an excellent explanation of the whole thing.
That is not the question. The question is: it’s a binary choice. People should be aware that not voting helps the worst candidate win. Why not vote for the less bad candidate then?
Omelet composed of >60% frozen vegetables and seasoned with soy sauce.
It doesn’t hold itself together at all and it looks disgusting.
I’ve got a feeling we’ll see Bush v. Gore style recount shenanigans or worse. Trumpist “stop the steal” people have begun to infiltrate the election process, right?
Windows. Can’t be arsed to deal with Linux.
I’ve tried it. There were three issues:
Yeah I wish they were still adding new features and stuff. But I haven’t found a better alternative yet, so I guess that’s what we have.
Unified Remote. It’s a little janky, but it does you to turn your phone into a trackpad and/or keyboard for your phone. It works with swipe typing, and allows you to use keyboard shortcuts such as Alt+Tab or Win+Shift+Arrow.
Truly the best way I’ve found of using my PC from my couch.
Eh, bicycle helmet I guess?
Maybe do robotics (likely in a simplified way; surely “robots for dummies” is a thing?) and have them make their robots compete in some sort of competition at the end of the year.
I’m not even a competitive person at all, but when our school had us compete on Popsicle stick bridges, I had a ton of fun. Creative projects with a clear, real-world benchmark at the end are really fun.
The return of mustaches.
Thanks! Hopefully my new tires are more resilient
Leftover powder on the road is a different beast. It’s often mixed up with a little bit of sand, and it’s been crushed into a powder that doesn’t feel like natural snow at all. It doesn’t stick and it slips like fine sand. Not a fun time. A little pile of 2-3 cm of the stuff was enough to almost make me completely lose control last year. Scary stuff.
Get a Nintendo console. Nintendo Games are absolutely a gateway drug. They’re high quality and generally very easy to get into.
