If your job allows you to focus on your task without political concerns (like specific contract work where promotion isn’t a thing), then who cares about the social cliques?

Pick your lane dude. I’m saying the post as described focuses on the job description.

So, should you care about the job, or the chit chat?

If politics are required for the job, but not listed in the job description (real world) then that must be discussed. If not, focus on your work.

Post said “if you like doing your job”

So discussion on changing work life balance isn’t relevant.

If that matters, then it’s part of the job, not a social club

Do you want to focus on your job or a social club ?

Hate someone for their actions.

Be suspicious of people for their beliefs.

Avoid people if their beliefs are so concrete and premeditative that you believe they will turn their bad beliefs into actions.

It’s interesting, some theists would just say “that’s how God built the universe” and be satisfied with that.

I know any country I’d want to live, they are doing the same thing. Just perhaps not as effectively.

That’s no excuse, it sucks. But it doesn’t disturb me outright that the US gov is doing it.
