Agreed. Get the heck away from Denspar and don’t even step foot in Kuta Beach, it’s not worth it.
Bali was amazing.

Bali was amazing.
Depends on when you visit. I went during September and it was beautiful and not at all crowded. Didn’t smell, either.
Agreed. It’s for people who don’t like to sink deep into a culture. They want the short touch so they can pull back and leave asap.
I could never go on a cruise, the time constraints would drive me crazy.
I guess it depends on the type of philosophic thinking.
Uh, no, they definitely knew, that’s the point.
My anime days.
This was back before anime really took off in the US, so most people had no idea what it was. This was before the term “weeaboo” was invented, but I’d have been called one if it had been.
Yeah, old school liberals. Free speech, gun rights, reasonable abortion laws, live and let live, don’t touch the kids, free and fair elections.
Doesn’t get better than that.
Because I look at policy and results. Actual peace, actual economic benefits, and damn, do I love his transition team.
I think the worst thing the Dems did for their party was rig their primaries. Bernie was a big one, I think it would have altered the course of the next few elections for sure. And then when they did it to Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang… and this year to RFK jr…
Whoever is making the controlling decisions behind the party facade wanted puppets instead of genuine leaders, and they chased the good candidates out. The ones who had integrity (Tulsi, RFK), reached out to see what was going on on the other side and found good footing there. I followed.
If I see a clip, I search out the full video for context. If I read a quote, I search out where that quote came from to get context. When context is inserted, it turns out Trump is incredibly decent, and I like it over here.
And bring that spider on, I’ve got a giant-ass lynx cat and a guardian dog, both of which love munching on spiders.
Best answer because even in this thread you’ve been down voted.
I voted for him myself and have for sure been down voted for it on here, over and over again.
Haven’t been banned though, so I’ve got that going for me, which is nice.
Probably not popular around these parts, but I really like Glenn Greenwald.
I was 17 on my last year of trick or treating. If I’m not old enough to sign up to go to war, I’m young enough to trick or treat.
Honestly? Kinda lonely. I’ll be 40 in a few months. I’m a woman, if the perspective matters .
I was engaged to the man I thought I’d marry and have kids with, but it didn’t turn out to be the case, and although I learned how to choose better and what to look out for, I also wonder if I’m ever going to get to have a family of my own. It’s been 6 years now since that fell apart, and I had to do a lot in that time to get back onto my feet, but the few relationships I’ve had since then are fleeting. Men seem afraid of commitment now, and it’s hard not to completely fall to the idea that I’m just too old, which is what society is consistently screaming at me.
I don’t feel old.
I am tired of searching though. At some point I will get to where I’m too old and that makes me sad to think about.
You’re right, but also you’re a perfect example that makes me continue to hold fast to my bikers-are-annoying-get-out-of-the-way mindset
Cycling on the road.
On the one hand, biking is great and they should be able to bike on any road! And we should be careful when driving near them, it’s super scary being so unprotected and so close to metal speed bombs hurling around them.
On the other hand, road bikers are fucking annoying, stay in your goddamn lane and stop slowing down traffic. I’m not reading your dumb hand signals, either!
I’m a whole tomato-eater, and there is a way to eat them without being messy. The mess is divided into chambers, and you basically go one chamber at a time, suck out the mess in the chamber and then move on to the next.
Hey, similar to me! I was a veterinarian receptionist for years, then went back to school and got my associates in cad and now I’m a substation designer.
Honestly? I have no idea how to pirate now. That’s the biggest change.
Wash dishes while you cook. It was a game-changer for me.
No one was watching you poop, Americans don’t look between the cracks, we know better.
Barcelona was nice to see, but I probably will never go back. The tourism is so heavy that even when there on the off season and being incredibly nice and respectful, the locals don’t like you. Worth it to see the more famous sites, but when I go back to Spain, I won’t be going there.
