People use it in a way where counterexample proofs that the rule exist when it’s supposed to mean that the rule also handles exceptional cases.
I listened to Atlas Shrugged as an audio book and it was ok at best. One massive criticism of communism and how it doesn’t work but suggested anarchist society as the solution. Weird rape-y sex scene in the middle also. Should have stuck with the social criticism instead of anarco capitalism utopia stuff and it’d have been good.

West Bank and Gaza are separate governments. Israel made a contract with Jordan Valley farmers to get their water rights in exchange for a steady water supply that they never delivered. Then after a while because they couldn’t farm without water they told them “your land is unused so we’re going to use it for a settlement”.
There is water in the West Bank but it’s not reliable since Israelis need to water their crops first.
Big part of Palestinians are Christian and their doing fine. Homosexuality is currently not legal and we don’t know if independent Palestine would have fixed it on not because Israel forbids them from holding elections. Same applies to most other issues, but one thing is for sure that they will have better agriculture and trade and more opportunities as a free country. Israel is essentially blockading Gaza and West Bank gets double tariffs and no water for farming.

8·2 months agoDon’t know why you would jump to that conclusion straight away. Mín billable hours and time spent thinking on the problem is a thing. Taking regular 5m breaks (pomodoro technique) also helps with getting things done and so on and people should be paid for it.
I mean, you should technically stop the clock if the wife calls to ask if there’s pasta at home but nobody really cares.
Adding significant amount of hours to a report would not be ethical but adjusting 10% to get paid for time laying in bed thinking about problems is still ethical from my point of view. It’s way more value than most meetings.
Your cultural context way vary.
Loads of great experiences and tons of diversity. I’ve had lot of great experiences through video games and it’s never too late to start.
You could start with by looking through some video game threads and asking more specific question like “I’m new to video games, what are some games that you recommend that are not to hard to pick up” or something.
Recommend: Portal
I personally think you should give Portal a shot, it’s a 3D puzzle game that you can run on any computer and is one of the best games of all time, it’s also pretty funny on top of that.
