So sorta like the imaginarium of Dr. parnissius? ( its called something along those lines lol)

It would all depend on the hired killer. Even the most horrible of people tend to have a ‘code’ they will follow.
If you want another good example of positive ‘capitalism’ check out Sam Reich and Dropout.
His father is Robert Reich (Former Secretary of Labor).
Sam is expanding Dropout at a sustainable rate. since its founding it’s had only one or 2 price hikes bringing the cost from like 3.99 to 5.99.
And they weren’t just arbitrary hikes. We got a lot of new content as a result.
He takes care of his employees. And more importantly he cares about his employees as people.
In regards to another reply, there are multiple options of dealing with duplicates in calibre. From merging to deleting them.
It’s been a while since I had to do any library setup with calibre and Im kinda confused by what you are saying with “but it duplicates files when importing in a different drive where I don’t want ebooks”
Do you have multiple libraries in calibre?
Are you using multiple library managers?
Why not just use calibres folder structure?
And also if you don’t know about it - mobileread forums has been around a long time and has a whole section on calibre where you could probably get more specific help.
Pretty easy honestly. Pick the frames you like, enter in your prescription, choose lens options like transitions/anti glare then pay and you get em in a couple days to a couple weeks depending.
Just like anything else shop around - some of the “cheap” online places still charge a ridiculous amount.
Name brand doesn’t mean much either - for example - generic transition lens coating works just as well as the name brand stuff for most applications for a fraction of the price.
I buy my glasses cheap off the internet and wear em till they are broken. They last me years and I’ve never had any coatings come off like this.
I am now super curious if it’s something OP did, or if it’s a processing error (maybe technician put the coatings on in the wrong order) or what.
A lot. The one’s I always come back to are

At my current job, people keep remarking how fast I unload a truck.
I just laugh to myself. I’m not fast - I just work at a steady pace and utilize efficient methods.
I know and have know plenty of people that can move faster than me but its almost always at the expense of their quality.
I just see no reason to be ‘the fastest gun in the west’ if you can’t hit the broadside of a barn.
Society sucks.
There are some great benefits, but it just feels like it’s doing more harm than good.
Anywhere between about 45 - 70F with the sun out.
Night time low humidy and 55 - 75F and maybe a light breeze. (The lower end of temp is more about nostalgia than comfort)
In the higher range (somwhere around 60-70F) a nice breeze as well.
Low humidity 50% or less.
Linux learning curve is definitely steeper than windows - at least for ‘the basics’.
Simply because of terminal commands. Thats a lot of info to learn and maintain just to do ‘basics’.
Yeah you can search and find what you need to do, but again that’s a lot of work for someone who just wants things to work.
Windows pretty much holds your hand to get the ‘basics’ up and running.
Yeah, I searched for hiking and backpacking to replace my equivalent subreddits and just crickets everywhere.
While it’s a good idea, things are a little too decentralized right now.
There are lots of communities that are just stealing users from each other.
I’ve no desire to be joined to 17 ‘different’ communities with maybe a few dozen members each and content that is mostly crossposted between those same communities.
At best they are pretty much useless for employees, at worst they are as dangerous as managment.
