I don’t really know how to structure this question, but yeah, why is always Naval and never Aviation?

Naval terminology is cooler.
“I’m the Captain of the USS Enterprise.”
Vs
“I’m the Colonel of the Exploration/Reconnaissance/Fighter craft Enterprise.”
