    Yes, has been all the time. It was just handed over from the Ubuntu company to community management under the Ubports banner.

      that’s neat. hopefully the fixed release model will support phones that are actually available to buy.

        You can buy a Volla phone and afaik also a Fairphone4 with Ubuntu Touch pre-installed.

        I think the main issue for other phones right now is that their Android kernel compatibility layer (“halium”) is only compatible up to Android 11 and needs an update for newer phones to work.
