Same, I turn off monitors and do the 3 finger salute. Only turn it off for cleaning. Been doing this since my first 486 PC.

Lol, there are more games than visual confusion pelted at your face. Many people get motion sick and need to start slow, some will never be able to play VR, but if they do calm games it will keep them active. There are golf and fishing/hunting games and puzzle games. I hope VR or a version is still a thing in 20+ yrs when I am old
My college had software that would revert the pc to an image after each reboot, saves sent to a remote location, this could work here as windows has a monthly update schedule and steam has cloud saves. At the beginning it will be a lot of setup/install/re-image but as time goes by less intervention should be needed
I’ve heard of vr being used to get them more active

A buddy had this 1 pigeon attempt to build a nest on his balcony every year for the 4 years he lived there, right where the water would pool, he named the pigeon Fish. Nest never looked like a nest
Back in my early 20s I did a lot of pot and acid. One night I broke my brain on a trip. The trip was going as usual, minor visual hallucinations like seeing faces in the air and such. Then, without warning I was in a gurney covered in a sheet and I heard voices then one said “He’s awake!” and the next instant I was back in my room tripping with my friends. For years I couldn’t shake that scene. Some people have said it was all just a trip but… maybe I broke the control for a moment. (ps this was before The Matrix and Cube 2 not that simulation theory is new) Good times
Loblaws recently installed 7 foot high Plexiglass barriers
You can jump 7’?
I play a lot of VR and I catch myself trying to use the gravity glove to pick things off the ground
Msg the .world mods to see why it failed. I had to make one on .world as .ca was having email issues, once I msgd the .ca admins they said “Damn it!” and added me manually, good luck
